The Chicago-based group formed in 1972 and currently consists of members Chuck Panozzo, James Young, Tommy Shaw, Todd Sucherman, Lawrence Gowan, Ricky Phillips and Will Evankovich. Back in 2018, the band teamed up with Joan Jett & The Blackhearts for a massive co-headlining tour with support from Tesla. The new album reached #17 on Billboard's Rock chart and follows up 2017's 'The Mission'.
Styx released their 17th studio album 'Crash of the Crown' on June 18th, 2021 via Universal Music Enterprises. The band spent portions of 2022 touring across Canada with support from Nancy Wilson's Heart after joining REO Speedwagon during portions of their Live and UnZoomed Tour along with Loverboy. Canadian shows are planned for Moncton, Summerside, Halifax and Laval. stops in Cherokee, Biloxi, Las Vegas, Phoenix and Temecula. The extensive outing kicks off January 5th in Clearwater and continues into May making notable U.S.
